The money on the job

The appraisal, the bank loan and the plot sales kept in three different spreadsheets.

Your own development, in the same program

A development is a job with houses on it. The appraisal that got it funded, the facility paying for it and the plots being sold are the same record as the build, so the figure the lender is shown and the figure in the books are not arrived at twice.

One record, from appraisal to sale

The figure the lender sees is the figure in the books

  1. The appraisal The residual appraisal, kept as versions: the one adopted at purchase and the reviews since.
  2. The facility The lender’s facility, with the drawdowns, the interest and the running balance.
  3. The build The development is a job in the same program, its costs coded as they are posted.
  4. The plots Each home from reservation to completion, its sale along its own row.
  5. Stock at the month end What is carried, and what it is carried at.
