Marginal relief, worked the way the return is
The profit in whole pounds, the limits shared with associated companies and cut for a short period, dividends counted towards the band, and the tax to the penny.
For a twelve-month period with no associated companies, the small profits rate of 19% applies up to £50,000, the main rate of 25% from £250,000, and between the two the main rate less marginal relief at 3/200 of the difference between the upper limit and the profits.
The arithmetic, not advice: your own circumstances come first. Nothing you type here leaves your browser, and nothing is stored. It is the computation Murgese prepares the CT600 from.

What Murgese does with this
Murgese prepares the computation and the CT600 from the ledger, splits a period that straddles two financial years, and tags the accounts in iXBRL, ready for you to submit. It is not yet HMRC recognised, so it does not file the return itself.

This does a small part of what the software does. Request it and run a period you already know the answer to.
