Pilot programme
Run it on real work, and tell us what breaks
We are looking for a small number of UK practices, businesses and group finance teams to test Murgese and Murgese Consolidate before general release.
Murgese
Bookkeeping, VAT and CIS, statutory and management accounts, the CT600, Self Assessment and practice management, in one Windows application that keeps the books on your own machine.
For practices, small businesses, sole traders, and property and construction firms.
Murgese Consolidate
Consolidated group accounts from each company's trial balance: eliminations proposed, goodwill and non-controlling interests computed, foreign subsidiaries translated, and part-year acquisitions split at the control date.
For practices preparing group accounts, and for a group's own finance team.
What you get
For your time
- Free use of the software for the whole pilot, with the licence issued by us.
- A pilot tester's price afterwards, held for two years from the day your licence starts. For Business edition it is the limited-offer price, even if your pilot ends after the offer closes. For Practice edition and Murgese Consolidate it is a price given in writing before your pilot ends.
- A direct line to the people building it: what you report is read and answered, not lost in a queue.
What we ask
In return
- Run it on real work, or on a copy of real work, for at least four weeks.
- Tell us what breaks, what is missing and what is slower than what you use now.
- One short feedback call or a written note at the end.
Read this before you apply
Both products are Windows applications. Murgese prepares the VAT return, the CT600 and the Self Assessment return but does not file them to HMRC yet, and it has not been run alongside another package for a full year. Plan to keep your current software running in parallel for the pilot. Everything it does not do is set out on the status page.
The pilot or the trial?
Anybody can request the software and use it free for 30 days on their own books. The pilot is for people who will run it on real work for four weeks or more and tell us what breaks: the licence is free for the whole pilot, you have a direct line to the people building it, and afterwards a pilot tester's price, held for two years. Murgese Consolidate is available only through the pilot.
