Getting paid

Applications arrive by email. One comes from a firm with no order. Another has new bank details on it.

Checked against the order they signed

What a subcontractor applies for is checked against the order before anybody opens it, and the checks are the ones that cost money when nobody does them: arithmetic, over-claims, variations never instructed, insurance that has run out, and bank details that have quietly changed.

Or they apply on the order itself

From their phone to your order, with nobody typing it in

Murgese Connect gives each subcontractor a login of their own to their orders with you, set up with a password and an authenticator app.

  1. Their orders, on their phone What each order is worth, what has been certified, and the last notice you gave.
  2. They value each line The value of each line to date, the total adding up as they type, their own PDF and a note.
  3. Through the relay, and nowhere else Encrypted end to end with your own certificate. The relay cannot read it and keeps nothing, and only the subcontractor pages are reachable through it, never the books.
  4. On the order at the office Marked as received through Murgese Connect, with the date your notice is due by, and checked like any other application.

Your office PC has to be on for Connect to reach it.

All about Murgese Connect

  • Checked before it is openedArithmetic, over-claims, variations not instructed, sequence, the previous certificate, VAT and CIS, retention, insurance out of date, and changed bank details, with payment stopped until somebody rings the subcontractor on a number already held.
  • An inbox that reads the emailIt reads the PDFs sent to the firm’s applications mailbox, matches each one to its order, and sets duplicates aside.
  • Or they apply on the order itselfMurgese Connect gives each subcontractor their own login to their orders with the firm, with an authenticator app. They value each line, attach their own PDF and send it, and it lands on the order at the office with the date the firm’s notice is due. They see their own orders and nothing else, never the books.
  • Notices, fixed when issuedPayment and pay less notices, fixed at the moment they are issued, and emailed from the program.
  • Their papers, and what runs outInsurance and accreditations held against each subcontractor, with what is about to expire.
  • CIS, as far as the program can take itThe deduction worked out on the labour only, each subcontractor’s verification and rate kept on file, the monthly return’s figures and the payment and deduction statements prepared, and the dates tracked. The CIS300 is submitted on HMRC’s own service, and a verification is requested there; both are then recorded here.
