Partner programme
For firms who want to put clients on it
License Murgese for your own practice, and put the clients you look after on the Business edition under your own arrangement with them.
How the programme works
A partner firm licenses the Practice edition and runs its own client portfolio inside it. Each client the firm puts on the Business edition is licensed through the firm, and the firm decides what, if anything, to charge that client.
The firm holds one licence, renewed yearly, covering its own books and the client companies it puts on Murgese. One invoice a month goes to the firm, with any change during the month apportioned by the day. The invoice carries no client names, because we do not need them and a monthly list of another practice's clients is not something we should hold.
The client's books stay on the client's machine. That is as true for a partner firm's clients as it is for anyone else.
What a partner gets
- The Practice edition for the firm
- Business edition licences for your clients
- One licence for the firm, renewed yearly
- One monthly invoice, apportioned by the day
- Bulk onboarding from a spreadsheet
- Your own support relationship with your clients
Worth being clear about
Support goes to you, not to us
A business whose accountant supplied the software is that accountant's customer. If one of your clients writes to our support address, we send them back to you rather than answering over your head. It keeps the relationship where it belongs and stops your client hearing two different answers.
Faults in the software itself come to us from you, and we deal with the firm.
Before you apply
Read the status page first. Murgese is not yet HMRC recognised, Companies House filing has been tested only against our own harness, and the product has not yet been run alongside another package for a full annual cycle. A firm putting clients on it should plan to parallel run.

Tell us about the practice
We read every application ourselves. Expect a reply from a person, with the terms set out in full, before anything is agreed.
What your staff work in
The job board, across every client
Jobs raised from the deadlines they belong to rather than because somebody remembered, with an owner, a stage and what each one is waiting on. A partner can see the whole firm's position without asking anybody for a status.
